On August 21st, the results of the 7th “Yixue Cup” National Business English Practice Skills Competition were officially announced. The two groups of contestants from the Department of Business English respectively won the first and second prizes in the Southwest Division with a total ranking of first and seventh, continuing the good trend of excellent results since the Department of Business English participated in the event in 2019.
In line with the concept of “promoting teaching, learning, reforming and building by competition, further deepening the integration of production and education, specialization and creation, and school-enterprise cooperation, and comprehensively improving the practical ability of college students majoring in Business English and related majors, the Business English Department organized teachers to provide serious pre competition guidance to the two teams participating in this competition, and the team members also prepared well Through the training of “Platform Knowledge Competition” and “Business Theme Speech”, the business literacy, practical skills, and cross-cultural knowledge of the participating members have been improved and strengthened. The joint efforts of both teachers and students have ultimately led to success of the competition.
