In July and August 2022, the Department of French conducted teaching training and teaching Workshops, in which faculties participated actively to improve their teaching skills during the summer holiday.

Conducting the training for teachers who teach the multilingual series of Understanding Contemporary China. The training is specifically organized by Beijing Foreign Studies University, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, and the National Network Training Center for College Teachers, and is conducted online through the National Network Training Platform for College Teachers (URL: https://jiaocai.enetedu.com). The training will be held from August 5-6, 2022. The whole team will be trained on August 5, and the training will be conducted in different languages on August 6. All the teachers of the Department of French actively participated in the training, and finally successfully completed the course and received the course certificate.

The training on “Professional Development of Higher Teacher Education - 2022 Summer Teacher Training Program” was conducted. The online training will be held in July and August 2022. The training consisted of 8 topics, including “In-depth Study and Implementation of President Xi Jinping’s Important Discourses on Education”. All the teachers of the Department of French participated in the training and finally completed the course successfully and got the course certificate.

This stage of training and seminar reflects the support and attention of cultivating talented faculty teams from the School of Foreign Languages, which is conducive to improving the academic quality and teaching level of teachers, promoting the quality of courses, and providing better teachers for students’ professional courses.
