On March 28, 2017, Professor Gatûm Namah Satish from the National Institute for Higher Engineers of France Besansson, and the leading cadre of the Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté and the French IGS Education Group came to our college for friendly exchanges and cooperation. Professor Li Chengjian, Dean of our college, Professor Wang Pengfei, Vice President, and Dr. Cheng Lei, head of the French Department, met with the visiting delegation and held talks with the guests.

The meeting was held in a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere. First of all, President Li welcomed the visiting guests on behalf of the college and made a brief introduction to the college from three aspects: college history, student scale, and international cooperation. Next, Dr. Cheng Lei, head of the French Department, introduced the French Department of our college to the guests from the aspects of faculty, research achievements, student exchanges, and so on. Since then, the representatives of French Institutes have introduced their respective college conditions. The two sides then held talks on student exchanges and scientific research cooperation. Both sides expressed their hope to carry out cooperation on student exchanges, scientific researches, and cooperation between the European Research Center of our college and French Institutes through signing a friendly cooperation agreement.
    After the talks, Cai Huaixin, Professor of the French Department of College of Foreign languages at Shanghai Fudan University, and a group of French university professors held a French learning lecture for the French Department of our college and had face-to-face exchanges with students on studying in France and French learning.
