On May 11, 2018, professor Luise von Flotow, director of Graduate School of Ottawa University and her assistant came tovisit. Professor Wang Pengfei, vice president of our School, Li Bin, director of MTI Center, Dan Ge, teacher from Translation Department, and Zhao Ruochen, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Office met the visitors and held talks with them.

On behalf of the School, vice president Wang Pengfei welcomed the visitors and introduced the School in terms of history, academic settings, talent training and international cooperation.Associate professor Li Bin, director of MTI Center, and Dan Ge, teacher from Translation Department, introduced the situation about MTI and translation major respectively.Professor Luise von Flotow also introduced the translation majors of the Ottawa University.Afterwards, the two sides discussed the joint cultivation of undergraduate, master and doctorate and the Summer Camp Exchange Program, and signed the "Memorandum of Friendship and Cooperation" to promote the future exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
