Translation Technology Saloon had its inaugural meeting on the afternoon of Jan. 18 in the SFL Lecture Hall. SFL hosted the significant event, attracting more than one hundred teachers, students, translation professionals and delegates from translation companies. The purposes of the Saloon are to integrate the achievements in translation teaching and academic research into the translation industry, and to provide more opportunities for cooperation between colleges and universities.
