The two-year negotiation with Leeds University of Britain has finally born its sweet fruit: SWJTU-Leeds Joint School. The State Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the School and its first enrollment in fall 2015. The School of Foreign Languages (SFL) and the Language Training Center of Leeds University are supposed to jointly take charge of the English teaching to the freshmen. So, 15 English teachers from SFL are wanted, who will be sent to Leeds University in two groups to exchange with their foreign correspondents in the early 2015.
Person specification for Year 1 English teachers:
- living/working Experience in English-speaking countries
- Passion for teaching/promotion of English activities
- Focus on teaching rather than research profile
- Excellent command of English
Interest in attending staff meetings and willingness to hold consultations with students
