Dr. Qian Yaxu from the Department of English, Southwest Jiaotong University, and the researcher of American Studies Center, has been interviewed by domestic and foreign media many times as an expert on international issues.

Since November 2020, Dr. Qian has been giving speeches on international hot issues such as  domestic issues in the USA and foreign affairs, America-China relations and the situation across the Taiwan on Toutiao and Tiktok through her media program "Current Politics Qian Yan". At the beginning of 2021, she began to give interviews to a number of domestic and international news organizations, commenting on the hot issues of international affairs and interpreting them in simple and profound ways. According to statistics, Sputnik news agency of Russia has interviewed Dr. Qian Yaxu more than 20 times on US issues this year.
